Seekur Jr is a skid steer, all-weather robot platform for research, security and inspection use. Seekur Jr's powerful drive motors allow movement over the roughest terrain. Manipulation, sensing, additional computing and wireless communication can be added to fit any application.
Seekur offers space, power and networking for up to 2 EBX form factor computers. This opens the way for more onboard vision processing, laser rangefinding, DGPS, mapping, localization, and other autonomous functions.
Seekur Jr runs up to 5 hours on its NiMH batteries. Seekur Jr's four traction tires are designed for speeds up to 1.2 meters per second [2.7mph] and slopes up to 75% with a 50kg payload. Seekur options include laser, DGPS, MobileRanger stereovision, an inertial measurement unit, user I/O expansion and a rapidly growing suite of other accessories.
